Tatted Crown
Today I finished the tatted crown I started working on over Easter. I love it!
When I discovered tatting I didn’t think the doilies and bookmarks were for me. Instead I prefer fun patterns like this and the dragon I previously made. In particular, I enjoyed the simplicity of this pattern as it’s a repeating motif. It was easy to remember so once I’d made the first couple of motifs I no longer needed to refer to the pattern. Perfect for working on while watching tv!
I’m getting much more confident with tatting now, and I’ve got some ideas that I’m really tempted to try to make patterns for. Watch this space for some new creations!
